Our wine buyers who choose a rigid wine box do so for a more premium presentation: usually a lid & base box wrapped in specialty paper, with an EVA insert cut to the bottle and hot foil. A wine tube is a paper tube sized to a single bottle, up to 350 mm tall, and normally needs no insert. Both start at 1,000 pcs with the same sample and production times.

Why do brands choose a rigid wine box?
For a more premium presentation. That is the reason our wine buyers give for choosing a box over a tube.
The build they order most is a rigid lid & base box wrapped in specialty paper, with an EVA foam insert die-cut to the bottle and hot foil stamping for the label or brand name. Other structures, inserts and finishes are available; see wine boxes.
When is a wine tube the right choice?
When you want the cylindrical format. A wine tube is one paper tube sized to the bottle, with a lift-off or plug-in lid, and it normally needs no insert. It can be made up to 350 mm tall, which covers a standard 750 ml bottle.
Round is the standard shape; oval and square are options at a slightly higher unit price than round. The lid fit is adjusted on the sample so it stays on but opens easily.
If you are undecided between the two, ask for both in the same quote request and compare them on price and on the samples.
Single bottle or multi-bottle?
Both formats are mostly ordered for a single bottle. A wine tube holds one bottle. For a two- or multi-bottle set, a rigid box is the format to ask about: send the bottle count and sizes, and we will confirm what is feasible.
How is the bottle held in place?
- Rigid box: an EVA foam insert with a cavity die-cut to your bottle, so it sits firmly in the box.
- Tube: the tube itself is sized to the bottle, so it normally needs no insert. If you want one anyway, mention it in the quote request.
Either way, send the exact bottle height and diameter, or a bottle for sampling.
What finishes can I use?
