What we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are. The site is run by Shenzhen Yi Ding Peng Packaging Design Co., Ltd., a packaging manufacturer in Shenzhen, China. We are responsible for the information described below; contact details are at the end of this page.
Information you send us
When you use a quote or contact form we collect what you type in — name, email, company, country, phone or WhatsApp if you add it, product type, quantity and project notes — plus any artwork or reference files you choose to upload.
With the form we also record how you reached us: the page you sent it from, the page you first landed on and the referring site, any campaign tags in the link (UTM or Google Ads click IDs), and basic device details (device type, browser, language and screen size). This tells us which pages and campaigns bring real enquiries.
How we use it
To review feasibility, prepare samples and quotes, reply to you and manage any order that follows. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
The legal basis (UK GDPR / EU GDPR) is the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and understanding which pages work. Analytics cookies are used only with your consent — see below.
File uploads
Uploaded artwork or reference files are used only for structural and print feasibility review. Please do not upload confidential files unless you are comfortable sharing them for that review.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to see which pages buyers find useful. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_* (kept for up to two years by default), and our own page statistics store a random visitor ID in your browser.
If you visit from the UK or Europe, none of these are set until you choose Accept in the cookie banner. Choosing Reject keeps them off, and you can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings, also linked in the footer. We store your choice itself in your browser so we do not ask on every page.
A few items are needed for the site to work and are not used for tracking: a session counter and the dismissed state of the quote bar, both cleared when you close the tab.
Who else handles it
Google processes analytics data when you have accepted analytics. Enquiries are stored in our own customer database and handled through our business email and messaging accounts, and the site runs on a hosting provider. Your information is not shared with anyone else except where the law requires it.
Where it is processed
Our team works from China, so information you send is processed there. If you are in the UK or EU, sending an enquiry means it is transferred outside your country for the purpose of answering it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any order that follows, and for our normal business records. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to the email below and we will reply within one month. If you are in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU, to your local data protection authority.
